The re-run of the Arden NHF AGM will be on Thurs 25^th June at 6pm. This will be a short online meeting (see meeting details below) to cover a brief chair’s report and then election of 3 official roles (chair, vice-chair and secretary). 

Any forum member is welcome to attend. You do not need to be a committee member or have been to previous meetings. 

Due to the low numbers attending recent meetings, I am also proposing the following change to the constitution that will be voted on at the AGM by a simple majority. This should ensure we are still able to make decisions going forwards, even if there are low numbers at forum meetings. 

Existing wording:

The Neighbourhood Forum Meeting shall:

i. Be chaired by the Management Committee Chairperson or by the Vice Chairperson in the Chairperson’s absence.

i. Be quorate when called to vote on a formal decision when at least 6 members of the Forum, including members who are also members of the Management Committee are in attendance.

To be changed to:

The Neighbourhood Forum Meeting shall:

i. Be chaired by the Management Committee Chairperson or by the Vice Chairperson in the Chairperson’s absence.

i. Be quorate when called to vote on a formal decision when at least 4 members of the Forum, including members who are also members of the Management Committee are in attendance.
