Welcome to Harborough Town Hub
Harborough Town Hub (HTH) is an independent, community-led organisation that brings together the people of Market Harborough to shape the future of our town. We’re non-political and inclusive, working with everyone who lives and works in the town. We are aiming to work with community groups, schools, businesses, and government agencies, to drive positive action and create a thriving Market Harborough for everyone.
To support this aim, we have established four Neighbourhood Forums: Arden, Little Bowden, Logan & Town Centre and Welland.
Why Four Neighbourhood Forums?
Market Harborough has a large population that currently has no local representation,
so we have set up four Neighbourhood Forums to better engage with the local community
and ensure everyone has a voice in shaping the future of Market Harborough. You can read more about this here.
The Four Neighbourhood Forums Are...
These Forums act as the “eyes, ears, and voices” of their communities. While their ultimate goal is to develop Neighbourhood Plans, they’re also tackling immediate local issues that matter most to residents and businesses.
Each forum is developing a Neighbourhood Plan focusing on the key priorities...

Making Market Harborough a great place to live, work, and visit
Harborough Town Hub (HTH) acts as a central hub, connecting the four forums with Leicestershire County Council and Harborough District Council, as well as with voluntary organisations and Advisory Groups. HTH includes members from all the forums, ensuring a united approach to making Market Harborough a great place to live, work, and visit.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to drive positive action that benefits everyone in the community. Whether it’s improving local amenities, enhancing green spaces, or supporting community projects, we’re here to make a lasting impact.
Harborough Town Hub’s Priorities
HTH is dedicated to:
- Improving social, economic and environmental wellbeing for all.
- Making positive change happen by identifying and solving local problems.
- Building self-help networks using all our local knowledge, skills and connections.
- Building trusted relationships between all organisations that work locally.
- Having fun, getting to know each other and remaining ambitious about what can be achieved.
One of our first major milestones has been the development of the four Forums, each of which is creating a Neighbourhood Plan – a roadmap for how the people of Market Harborough envision their town’s future. It sets out what the people of each area believe is important, and how we all believe Market Harborough should look and feel as a place to live and work.
Get Involved with HTH!
We want everyone to have their say
